The Reverend Charles Wilson Messer, known to most as Father Chuck, became our new Rector in August of 2023.

Chuck and his wife Diane live in Greer, SC with their daughter Aidana, a recent graduate of Rowan University and their dogs Daisy and Scout. Their son, Arman, remains in Philadelphia while completing tech school and their daughter, Emma, is pursuing a career in music production in Nashville TN.

Father Chuck earned his M. Divinity at the Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO, followed by a certificate in Anglican Studies at the School of Theology, at The University of the South. Over twenty years of ordination, Father Chuck has served parishes in Kansas City, Baltimore and most recently the Philadelphia area.
