We would like to invite you to participate in the church drive for first aid supplies to donate to the United Ministries families who participate in the IFHN (temporary shelter at St. Giles) program. Since we are unable to host families for the IFHN program right now, we thought we could provide them with some first aid essentials. We have brainstormed a list of ideas for items to put into first aid boxes that we have. There will be box with a first aid cross at the church starting now and ending November 20. We welcome any donations! Any Day of the Week, you may drop off donations at St. Peter’s Plastic Bins under the covered drive-through in the front parking lot.
St. Peter’s Coat Drive from now until November 11 (St. Martin’s Day) We would like to collect any of your used coats which might be taking up space in a closet and could be helpful to someone in need. In the spirit of St. Martin, a Roman soldier who cut his cloak in half to share with a poor beggar, we would like to share warmth with persons who may need a coat in Greenville this winter. You can drop off a coat in our red bin marked ‘Coat Drive’ in the covered drive-through area in the front of St. Peter’s. United Ministries plans to distribute coats one at a time during the winter to persons in need. We will deliver our collection of coats to United Ministries on November 12. The greatest need is for adult coats in sizes L thru XXXXL.
