EFM Open Enrollment

Education for Ministry (EfM)

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a four year certificate program (with a one year at a time commitment) held in a small group setting.  The group of 6-12 participants meet once a week.  The cost is $375 per year, which includes books (partial scholarships are available). You do not need to be a Bible scholar or a future candidate for the clergy. This is a program for lay people to go deeper into their own personal faith, to better understand the tradition of the Christian faith and to be effective leaders in the world we live in at church, home, work and play.  Through study, prayer and reflection, the EfM group discovers the fullness of God’s kingdom.

Whether you are currently leading a ministry or discovering your ministry, EfM will provide you the tools to be better equipped to carry out the vocation for which we pray at the end of the Eucharist:  “and now, Father, send us out to do the work you have given us to do, to love and serve you as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord.”
